A Vice President at Brotman-Winter-Fried since the company’s inception, Kerry has managed dozens of government programs, journalism projects and event planning and execution for a variety of associations, restaurants, sports organizations and entertainment companies.

She currently handles publicity for the Legg Mason Tennis Classic (ATP), Seasons 52 Fresh Grill and Wine Bar, Fight For Children’s Annual Fight Night fundraiser, Nando’s Peri-Peri, Safeway, a handful of technology clients for CES and – on a project basis – the Portuguese Business Development Agency and Fenedegas (independent wine growers).

Her extensive portfolio includes work for the U.S. Department of the Interior, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Portuguese Trade Council, the Hilton Head Health Institute, Paradise Costa Rica; high-profile restaurant clients as Kinkead’s, Morton’s Steakhouse, Seasons 52 and Taberna del Alabardero; various aspects of the women’s tennis tour and the Marlboro Country Music Tour, for which the highlight was a project she created, coordinated and publicized for the event’s sponsor and a major fundraiser for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in D.C., starring Bob Hope, Alabama and The Judds.

She has also worked on accounts including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and Disney on Ice productions for more than a decade; managed media operations for sporting events such as FIFA’s 1999 Women’s World Cup, U.S. Olympic Soccer, and the 2010 World Football Challenge in Baltimore; and handled publicity for the U.S. Soccer Foundation, three-time U.S. National Champion figure skater Michael Weiss, the 2003 World Figure Skating Championships, and Washington’s annual Bastille Day Race and Celebration.

Other client accounts have included Vidal Sassoon Hair Salon and political satirist Mark Russell; auto racing, pre-season baseball and boxing events; and comedy shows.

Kerry has done pro bono work for Best Buddies International, the D.C. Firefighters’ Burn Foundation, and the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (WTEF).  She serves on the Advisory Board for Best Buddies of Virginia, and is a member of Washington Women in PR. A graduate of George Washington University, Kerry resides in the District of Columbia.
