How Do We Do This?


First, We Listen…

Each client’s needs and goals are unique to their own situation. While a local restaurant may need to impact potential customers within a three-mile radius, a major retailer with 40 area locations may require exposure throughout an entire metropolitan community. Our first step is to listen … and really understand … what our client needs to accomplish.

Once we truly understand their objectives, we can then employ the appropriate strategic plan to accomplish those goals.


Then, We Respond…

With the client’s ultimate goals constantly in mind, we create a communication plan designed - exclusively - to accomplish those goals. An upcoming sports or entertainment event may require advertising, cross-promotions and publicity to raise awareness and sell tickets, while the local branch of a national charity may wish to rely on special events and media coverage to spread their message. Once we identify and understand the desired end-result of our efforts, we employ the appropriate strategic element or elements to achieve those ends. Such elements often include media relations, promotions, advertising/media trades, special event management, marketing, and even grass-roots community activities. Once we have our plan in place, it’s showtime!  Employing a hands-on, fully interactive approach, we roll up our sleeves and get to work. With an agency principle or vice president serving as account supervisor on every project we undertake, our team of 12 public relations professionals does whatever it takes to accomplish our client’s pre-determined communication goals. If that means getting up at 4:30 a.m. to greet morning television crews, that’s what we do. If it takes hammering in stakes and posting logo banners, we’re right there. If it means calling weekend assignment editors on a Saturday morning or a Sunday evening, we do it. The media never sleeps. Quite often, we don’t either!

Public Relations
Publicity is the art of telling the story of your product, service, entity, mission, organization or purpose, through the media, to your specific and defined target audience. This is done through both traditional mediums (magazines, newspapers, radio and television) and emerging fields (such as blogs, e-zines, street team marketing and other alternative vehicles). It is often said that the best publicity is word-of-mouth. We design publicity campaigns to stimulate that word-of-mouth, in order to maintain a level of “buzz” we create through our initial efforts.


Advertising

Advertising allows us to effectively package and communicate a desired message for our clients. Sometimes that message is an image, a concept or a cause; other times it’s a product, an event or a service. Advertising allows us to control - in its entirety - both content and message; enabling us to impart that information as effectively as budget will allow to our client’s desired audience.

They can include anything from a retail cross-connection with another company, a value-added supplement to a print or broadcast radio buy, or sponsorship and support of an existing event or activity. We are always on the lookout for promotional tie-ins designed to provide our clients with the biggest possible bang for their promotional buck.
